Bluetti Elite 30 Mini Review: A Desk-Sized Power Station We’d Actually Carry

The Elite 30 Mini packs 288Wh and 300W of AC power into a 7.3 lb tower, with a 140W USB-C cable that pulls out of the side. We charged a phone from that cable, ran a 200W blender from the AC outlets, pulled the wall plug to test its UPS switchover and used the built-in light. Here is how it did.

Our Verdict

The Elite 30 Mini did well in every test we ran. It fast-charged a phone straight from its own cable, ran a small kitchen appliance, switched to battery without a noticeable interruption when we pulled the wall plug, and stayed quiet while charging. At 7.3 lb it is light enough to move from the home office to the car without thinking about it.

The trade-off is power. At 300W continuous it has half the AC output of BLUETTI’s own Elite 30 V2, and its 100W solar input is half as well. It is built for laptops, phones, routers, monitors, fans and small appliances. It is not for refrigerators, or for running kettles and coffee makers at full power.

Price is the other catch. Currently $449.00 on Amazon, the Mini costs more than the Elite 30 V2, so you pay extra for the built-in cable, the smaller tower and 2.2 lb less weight. If those matter to you, it is worth it. If you mainly want the most power for your money, the V2 is the better buy.

What we tested

Testing by Juhi Sahni, Senior Editor

  • ✓ Phone fast charging from the built-in USB-C cable
  • ✓ A 200W blender from the AC outlets
  • ✓ UPS switchover when unplugged from the wall
  • ✓ Fan noise while charging

  • ✓ Battery drain during everyday use

What We Found in Testing

Juhi Sahni, our Senior Editor, tested the review unit BLUETTI sent us, using it the way most owners will: charging a phone, running a kitchen appliance, unplugging it from the wall and using it day to day.

The Built-In USB-C Cable Is the Best Feature

We pulled out the retractable USB-C cable and plugged it into a smartphone, and the phone showed that fast charging was active. It sounds minor, but it means there is no separate cable to pack or lose, which matters most on a desk, in a car or in a go-bag for outages. BLUETTI rates the 60 cm cable at 140W in both directions and for at least 10,000 retractions, so it can also charge a laptop, or charge the Mini itself from a USB-C charger.

It Ran a 200W Blender Without Complaint

We plugged a 200W blender into the AC outlet and it ran normally through our test. That shows the Mini is more than a phone charger: it handles small kitchen appliances too. The blender sits inside the 300W continuous rating, so this did not need Power Lifting, which BLUETTI reserves for heating appliances anyway. Results depend on the appliance: a blender rated near or above 300W, or one with a hard startup surge, may not run.

UPS Switchover Was Seamless

With the Mini plugged into the wall and powering a device, we pulled its wall plug. The switch to battery appeared seamless, with no noticeable interruption. BLUETTI rates the switchover at 10 milliseconds or less, and while plugged in the Mini passes up to 400W through to connected devices. That makes it a practical stand-in for a desk UPS on a Wi-Fi router, modem or monitor. If you plan to protect a desktop PC, check that its power supply tolerates a 10 ms gap.

Quiet While Charging

We noticed no fan noise while the Mini was charging. That matters for a unit designed to sit on a desk or a bedside table, where a whirring fan quickly becomes annoying. BLUETTI also gives the wall charger a Silent mode alongside Turbo and Standard.

A Three-Mode Light That’s Easy to Use

The built-in light has three modes, and a light touch on the button cycles through them. BLUETTI lists the modes as cool light, warm light and SOS, with dimming in its app. It is the kind of feature you forget about until the power goes out or you are packing up a campsite in the dark.

Battery Drain Was Slow in Everyday Use

During normal use, the battery percentage dropped slowly, which is what you want from a unit meant to keep a desk or a phone going through the day. In one check, with a 21W load the screen showed 99% charge and estimated about 10 hours of runtime left. For planning how long specific devices will run, see BLUETTI’s runtime estimates below.

Design and Ports

The Mini is a small upright tower, 6.3 × 5.1 × 8.2 inches, with a fold-down carry handle. BLUETTI says it is 20% lighter and 32% smaller than comparable models. Against its own Elite 30 V2 the weight saving is real: 7.3 lb versus 9.5 lb for the same 288Wh. It is not the lightest unit of this size, though. The Jackery Explorer 300 weighs a similar 7.1 lb.

The front panel holds the screen, a 140W USB-C port that also accepts input, a 15W USB-C port, a 15W USB-A port, a 12V car outlet and the DC/solar input. The two AC outlets (one three-prong, one two-prong) and the AC charging inlet are on one side, and the retractable 140W USB-C cable comes out of the other. The app connects over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Pros & Cons

What We Like

  • • Built-in 140W USB-C cable — fast-charged our phone with nothing extra to carry
  • • Ran a 200W blender — handles small appliances, not just electronics
  • • 7.3 lb tower design — 2.2 lb lighter than the Elite 30 V2 at the same capacity
  • • Easy three-mode light — one touch to cycle modes
  • • LiFePO4 battery — BLUETTI rates it for 6,000+ cycles to 70% capacity
  • • Seamless UPS switchover — no noticeable interruption when we pulled the plug
  • • Quiet charging — no noticeable fan noise in our testing

What Could Be Better

  • • 300W AC limit — half the Elite 30 V2’s 600W, so no kettles, coffee makers or fridges
  • • 100W solar input — slow to refill from panels; the Elite 30 V2 takes 200W
  • • Power Lifting is heating-only — 600W at reduced power, not for motors
  • • No solar cable listed in the box — you may need an adapter for your panel
  • • Not the lightest in its class — the Jackery Explorer 300 weighs about the same
  • • Costs more than the Elite 30 V2 — at current Amazon prices, for half the AC output

Charging Options and Times

The Mini can be charged five ways. These times are BLUETTI’s figures to 80%. The wall charger has Turbo, Standard and Silent modes, and while plugged in the Mini passes through up to 400W to whatever is connected.

Charging Method Max Input To 80% (BLUETTI)
Wall outlet (AC)300W56 min
Wall + solar together380W46 min
Two 140W USB-C chargers2 × 140W59 min
100W solar panel100W (12–28V)3.5 hrs
Car outlet (12V / 24V)—3 hrs / 2.7 hrs

USB-C charging is the unusual one: with a 140W laptop charger you can top up the Mini without its AC cable, which is handy when travelling. BLUETTI notes that full 140W needs a 5A USB-C cable with an E-Marker chip; the built-in cable has one.

How Long Will It Run Your Devices?

These are BLUETTI’s own runtime estimates. They look realistic rather than optimistic, since they allow for the energy lost converting battery power to AC.

Device Draw / Battery BLUETTI Estimate
Smartphone15Wh battery~14 charges
Laptop60Wh battery~4 charges
Wi-Fi router12W~14.5 hrs

The Mini’s closest rival is BLUETTI’s own Elite 30 V2: same capacity, but with twice the AC output and solar input, for 2.2 lb more weight. If you need to run anything over 300W, the V2 or the EcoFlow River 3 Plus is the safer buy. The Mini wins on portability and the built-in USB-C cable, which none of the others have. It is also the most expensive of the five right now, so on value alone the others come out ahead.

Elite 30 Mini vs Elite 30 V2: Which Should You Buy?

Both hold 288Wh, so the choice comes down to how much power you need at once versus how easy the unit is to carry. The V2 has twice the AC output and solar input; the Mini is 2.2 lb lighter and has the built-in USB-C cable. At current Amazon prices the V2 is also the cheaper of the two.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Bluetti Elite 30 Mini worth it?

For desk setups, travel and keeping phones and laptops charged, yes. In our testing the built-in 140W USB-C cable fast-charged a phone, it ran a 200W blender without trouble, its UPS switchover was seamless and it was quiet while charging. At 7.3 lb it is easy to carry. If you need to run more than 300W, or charge from solar faster than 100W, the Elite 30 V2 or EcoFlow River 3 Plus is a better fit. At current Amazon prices the Mini also costs more than the Elite 30 V2, so you are paying for the built-in cable and the lighter weight rather than for more power.

How many AC outlets does the Elite 30 Mini have?

Two 120V AC outlets: one three-prong and one two-prong. Together they share the 300W continuous output. Devices with a three-prong plug, such as many desktop PCs and monitors, need the three-prong outlet.

Can the Elite 30 Mini run a blender?

It ran the 200W blender we tested without any problems. Its continuous AC rating is 300W, so blenders rated up to about 300W are the realistic limit. Full-size blenders rated at 1,000W or more are well beyond it, and Power Lifting is not meant for motor appliances like blenders.

What is Power Lifting on the Elite 30 Mini?

Power Lifting lets the Elite 30 Mini run resistive heating appliances rated up to 600W, such as a small kettle or hair dryer, by lowering the voltage it supplies. The appliance runs, but at reduced power, so it heats more slowly. BLUETTI says the mode is for heating devices only, not appliances with motors or compressors.

How fast does the Elite 30 Mini charge?

BLUETTI states 80% in 56 minutes from a wall outlet (300W), 80% in 46 minutes from wall plus solar together (380W), 80% in 59 minutes using two 140W USB-C chargers, and 80% in 3.5 hours from a 100W solar panel. The wall charger has Turbo, Standard and Silent modes.

Can the Elite 30 Mini work as a UPS for a router or monitor?

Yes. When we pulled the wall plug in our test, the switch to battery appeared seamless, with no noticeable interruption. BLUETTI rates the switchover at 10 milliseconds or less, with up to 400W of pass-through while plugged in, which suits a Wi-Fi router, modem or monitor. If you are protecting a desktop PC, check that its power supply tolerates a 10 ms gap.

Is the Elite 30 Mini noisy?

Not in our experience. We noticed no fan noise while it was charging, which suits a desk or bedside table. BLUETTI also gives the wall charger a Silent mode.

What is the difference between the Elite 30 Mini and the Elite 30 V2?

Both hold 288Wh. The Elite 30 V2 doubles the AC output to 600W and the solar input to 200W, but weighs 9.5 lb. The Elite 30 Mini is 300W with 100W of solar, weighs 7.3 lb, and adds the built-in retractable 140W USB-C cable. Choose the Mini for portability and desk use, the V2 if you need to run bigger appliances.

Can I charge the Elite 30 Mini with a solar panel?

Yes, through its DC input, which accepts up to 100W at 12 to 28V. BLUETTI quotes 80% in about 3.5 hours from a 100W panel. The box contents BLUETTI lists include an AC charging cable and a car charging cable but no solar cable, so check that your panel bundle includes the right adapter.

When is the Bluetti Elite 30 Mini available?

Amazon opened pre-orders in October 2026 and lists a November 7, 2026 release date.

How many times can the Elite 30 Mini charge a phone or laptop?

BLUETTI estimates about 14 charges for a phone with a 15Wh battery and about 4 charges for a laptop with a 60Wh battery. In our testing, the built-in retractable cable triggered fast charging on our phone.
